What the licence means
Personal covers you and your own audience: a personal account, a hobby forecast page, a class, a community newsletter that is not sold. It does not cover a business putting graphics in front of its customers.
Commercial covers broadcast, streaming, a publication's website or app, a paid newsletter, and syndication to your own audience under your own name. What it does not cover is reselling the renders as a competing graphics service.

Where does the forecast come from?
The NWS National Digital Forecast Database for the deterministic forecast, the National Blend of Models for the percentile spread, ASOS/METAR for current conditions, and NCEI 1991–2020 normals for the climate comparison. Each product names its own sources in the catalog and on the graphic itself.
How current is a render?
Renders are keyed to the forecast's issue time, which is printed on every graphic. A city's forecast is refreshed when it is more than thirty minutes old, so a render is never more than half an hour behind the feed — and it always says which issue it is.
Can I recolour a severe-weather warning?
No. Your accent repaints the identity colours across a board; the colours that carry meaning are fixed. Recolouring those to match a brand would make the graphic lie about a hazard.
Do I need a Forecast Network account?
For anything beyond previews, yes — it is the same account as weather.city and Forecast Eagle. Accounts open here soon; every preview works without one.
